Welcome to the 2008 Quinley Site!

Welcome to the Quinley social network site! In case you don't know us, Sherry and I have been married 27 years and are blessed with six children aging from 14-25. Asia became home in 1990. We are media missionaries, using training & media to disciple youth in emerging Asian nations.

Our main blog is at www.quinley.com. Please check that out. We are incredibly rich in children and in friends. We have amazing family in America and all over the world as well. We'd like you to meet some of the special people in our lives and hear their stories. Who knows, you might become friends with each other as well!

Please check out our links (they're in the right column). If your interest is in mission-related, or you want to hear sermons, teachings or radio spots you will find links there.

Thanks for tuning in!
Chuck & Sherry

Engage Camp 3.0

Youth camps are effective strategies for connecting with young people.  In Thailand it is becoming a major part of our strategy, but with a twist.  We still have the crazy games and fun atmosphere and there are some serious times in the word and in worship and seeking the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, but [...]

A typical Thursday meal

Six kids and their friends means that we have lots of people for dinner many nights. We’ve quit worrying about the cost or where to fit people. Just buy a round table. Somehow there’s always room for more at a round table. The Lord provides the daily bread as He promised [...]

Thread Episode 5: When God Messes With Your Job

We all love to have God as a protector and a defender. We get comfort from His presence and guidance as we work hard to build a successful life, but how do we feel when he takes over and begins asking us to sacrifice things concerning our job?

Believing in Jesus or Believing what Jesus Believed in

I have spent the last 28 years of my life as a servant of the Church in some form.  From my childhood in a tight Pentecostal community until my globally-experienced church life my hearts primary concern is for the health of the churches and believers I know.  I have often evaluated what I see and [...]

Check Out our New Podcast!

OK, we are up to Episode 7 of the podcast now so I can say we are officially leaving the ’soft opening’ phase and fully launching the weekly 15 minute program.  It will explore many topics in the life of a true disciple but we will find our topics for now from a focused study [...]

Being real!

July 17 “You are like whitewashed tombs.” Matthew 23:27 NKJV Marybeth Whalen writes: “The painters painted the wall leading downstairs…A week later I discovered while the wall had been repainted, the habits hadn’t changed. The kids were still …dragging their dirty hands behind them, making what was white and clean, gray and dirty… Like that wall, if [...]
